As a unique individual with unique needs and circumstances, it can be tough to sift through all the information out there to know what is really best for you.
Most wellness programs & advice promise that if you follow the exact steps given, you will get the exact results promised. They often focus mostly on weight loss and exercise, and imply that thinness and sculpted physiques are what it takes to be healthy. And if you don’t get the results you want or the program is impossible to stick to, then it’s your fault or something is wrong with you.
They make you and your body the problem.
But there is nothing wrong with you.
Wellness habits and routines should serve YOU, not the other way around.
This is where health coaching comes in.
Health coaching is about helping you connect with yourself and tap into your inner wisdom to experiment and find the tools and habits that resonate with you most. It allows you to explore what wellness really looks like and feels like for YOU. It allows you to practice self-acceptance, de-center goals and messages that don’t serve you, and center the practices that make you feel good right now. As your coach, I am not here to give you meal plans or exercise routines or a laundry list of supplements. I am here to help you navigate the mental & physical challenges that keep you from making your wellbeing a priority, set doable & realistic goals, provide support & accountability, encourage you to practice self-compassion, and act as a sounding board as you become empowered to create a healthier, happier life for yourself.

$100 per session, pay as you go

Health Coaching is a good fit for you if:
You’d like help with setting realistic goals, breaking out of all or nothing thinking, and creating lasting habit change
You know the basics of how you’d like to improve your health but struggle with implementation
You work best with outside support and accountability
You would like a supplement to care & treatment from your medical and/or mental health team
You want to discover how to listen to your own inner wisdom and body to discover the best strategies, resources, and tools for you & your unique needs

Health coaching and nutritional therapy can have some overlap, but there are also some key differences.
Health coaching is more client led, supporting the client to develop and achieve their own wellness goals. It tends to focus more on mindset & behavior change and uses tools like motivational interviewing. It seeks to meet the client where they’re at and help empower them to navigate the daily challenges of life. In general, health coaching helps clients build and maintain mindsets & habits supportive to their overall long-term wellbeing.
Nutritional therapy is more practitioner led, giving the client specific recommendations to follow. It tends to focus more on diet & supplements and uses tools like the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ). It can often involve expensive testing and require strict compliance. In general, nutritional therapy helps clients follow protocols to improve or prevent specific health concerns.
Neither health coaching or nutritional therapy should be used as a replacement for professional medical and/or mental health care.
